
The Sebastian County Fort Smith District Law Library is committed to providing free access to legal research materials and offering educational programs for our patrons.
The library has a conference room that may be reserved for use by the public as well as local and visiting attorneys.
To ensure information is available to all patrons every day, law books cannot be checked out of the library. Patrons who would like to conduct research should visit the library where they will find ample reading room.
Printed Materials
The library’s printed materials collection includes: Arkansas Code Annotated, Arkansas Bar Association Guidebooks, and the Arkansas Practice Series (West).
Copies made on the copy machine are $.05 each for the public and $.25 for attorneys.

Digital Collection
Online research is essential in today’s legal environment.
The library provides 2 public access computers for legal research.
On these terminals, patrons have access to:
- Westlaw Patron Access, including Westlaw Secondary Sources Library
- Electronic copies of Arkansas Bar Guidebooks.
